   Newsletter and Special Virus ALERT 
   report we emailed to all of our registered
   subscribers from

It could help you avoid the agony of a virus infection.

We all know that it's becoming more and more difficult to avoid exposure  to the newest variants of the "SoBig Bug", "Blaster" and all of the other malicious  viruses, worms, and Trojan Horses circulating on the internet.

Our filters are constantly finding and rejecting unsolicited email that contains this deadly stuff...

...and they aren't always successful. Even though we constantly updated our virus-scan program's DAT files and ran very regular scans of our system, and ...

...even though we updated our Firewall program every time we received notice from the Firewall Program provider service, and ...

...deleted email from unfamiliar sources before we read it, and tried to follow all of the safety precautions outlined in our Special Report on "Firewalls and Trojan Horses" published in our website library and posted on the follow up messages to that report ...

...in spite of all of this, the "Blaster Bug" recently shut us down!

Fortunately, our RichardPresents.com website was secure on our host's servers and our lists of friends and autoresponder files were untouched because they resided on yet another host server.

BUT, we had not backed up all of the files and programs on our computer.

We had to wipe the 'C' drive and reload our Operating System. In total, we probably lost 20 to 30 percent of our data and program files.

We learned a lot about recovering from a virus infection and how to practice "preventative medicine".
